They'll Take This Away From You Too

I have to say, since the demise of Google Reader, AOL Reader has become my favourite way to read my RSS feeds. (And I never thought I’d say anything by AOL was my favourite.) The lack of a mobile app is sort of annoying, but the mobile and tablet versions of the website work really well, so it’s not too much of a bother. And I hear they’re working on mobile apps anyway.

All in all, I give it a gold star. It’s definitely worth a look if you’re still hunting for a Google Reader replacement. (image via imore, who also wrote a great review.)

Diesel Sweeties

Today’s strip is an infographic explaining how freelancers and self-employed people perceive time. Share it and perhaps the Job Havers will finally understand.

Just Law Problems

Me: so at dinner last night my aunt was like "so what’s your job" and I couldn’t think of anything to say except like "doing laws"… what do you say when people are like "so what do you do?"

Work friend: hahah i have the exact same problem. i just basically say random industry words i think are applicable; finance. Mergers. restructuring. Laws.

Me: hahahahhaha…business. deals. money making. abc. you know how it is.

WF: hahah i think i may have said "i close it down" …. whatever that means.

Me: … that’s going on the internet.

Always Be A Unicorn

Note from 2022 Rachel: I did buy this that year!

New thing I covet.
Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn, then always be a unicorn. (via WEAREYAWN | Society6)
